Frequently asked questions

Which accounts can I connect?

GitHub through browser authorization or a personal token; GitLab and Forgejo through a personal token and your HTTPS instance address. Provider permissions determine the available features.

Are AI briefings required?

No. You can use Git features without ChatGPT. Local briefings require an Apple Intelligence compatible device and iOS 26 or later. ChatGPT is optional and requires an account, permissions, and project data sharing consent.

How do I remove an account?

Open Settings > Connected accounts and swipe the account to remove it. Saved credentials are removed from the device; the provider token is not revoked. Revoke it separately in your provider settings.

How do I stop sending data to OpenAI?

In Settings > Artificial intelligence, turn off project data sharing or select On-device AI. You can also sign out of ChatGPT. This stops future requests and does not delete requests already processed by OpenAI.

Why are my data out of date?

Open the app and refresh the view. Data depend on provider permissions and API limits. The badge and widget reflect loaded data; continuous push updates are not configured.

How do I protect project titles in the widget?

Hide titles in Settings > Widgets. Enabling app lock also hides them automatically, while counts remain available.
